| Personal Statement:Hi students! I enjoy teaching and I am now pursuing a teaching career after finishing grad school at UCR this spring. I have been a TA for 2 years at UCR. I have taught Biology 5B (organismal biology) labs for 3 quarters, Biology 5A (cell and molecular) discussion sessions for one quarter, and this summer I will be teaching Biology 30 (Human reproduction and sexual behavior) discussion during summer session 1. At my old school in Texas, I have also been a TA for an entomology lab course. I have received good evaluations from many of my students. Some students have told me that I was their favorite TA and that I explain things well. I am friendly, enthusiastic, and I prefer to be very relaxed and informal with my students.
